If you're arriving at Heathrow Terminal 2, we now offer a Fast Track pick-up service from right outside T2's arrivals hall. Landing at T5? You can collect your vehicle from Terminal 5's short-stay car park on level 4.

Landing at London Heathrow Terminals 2, 3 or 4?
Our main Heathrow car rental station is located within the airport perimeter and is open 24/7, so you can collect and drop-off your hire car at any time. To make your journey as easy as possible, we also have a fleet of dedicated Avis Budget shuttle buses which will whisk you to and from Terminals 2, 3 and 4.
From Terminal 3 you can get the shuttle from bus stop 17 and from Terminal 4 it's bus stop 2. If you are landing at Terminal 2 you can either take the shuttle from bus stops 7/8 or pick up directly from the terminal with our exclusive Fast Track pick-up service.
Returns
All cars, regardless of which terminal you picked up from, should be returned to our main base at Northrop Road, TW6 2QA (for your GPS) just off the airport's North Perimeter Road.
Exit the M4 at Junction 4, follow the signs to Heathrow and head towards Terminal 4. You'll soon see signs for Avis Car Rental return.
Introducing Fast Track for your hire car at Heathrow Terminal 2
If you are landing at Terminal 2 and time is of the essence, consider our exclusive Fast Track pick-up service.
With Fast Track, passengers can step off their flight and head straight to our in-terminal desk at the end of the Arrivals hall to pick up their keys. Your gleaming new hire car will be waiting for you just outside, in our dedicated parking bays, near bus stop 19. We charge GBP 19.99 for this service.

From the booking panel on this page, or via our Call Centre. Once you've chosen your car online, just add Fast Track when you come to Choose Your Extras. Don't want to book in advance? Simply make your way to our in-terminal desk when you arrive and one of our rental agents will be happy to help.
Where to drop off your Avis hire car at Heathrow Airport
Please return your hire car to the main Avis Heathrow rental station located on the Northern Perimeter Road. The address for your GPS is Northrop Road, TW6 2QA.
Rent a car at Heathrow Airport Terminal 5
Landing at Heathrow Terminal 5? Avis rental cars can be picked up and dropped off at T5's short-stay car park on Level 4.
To locate the Avis rental desk, walk through arrivals, turn right and head towards the underground station. This is opposite Marks & Spencer. Continue past the station, through the double doors. Lifts are located to the left and you'll spy a sign directing you to Avis Budget on Level 4.
Take the lift to the short stay car park on Level 4. We’ll see you there, just to your right.
Members of Avis Preferred who are flying on BA can take advantage of the complimentary Avis Priority Rental Service. Pick up your rental car right outside Arrivals, bypassing the rental station entirely. Once a booking has been made, you will receive further intructions via SMS and email on how to pick up your car. Beyond Heathrow

Finish with a smile
Heathrow Airport is clearly signposted from all major motorways. Simply exit the M4 at Junction 4, follow the signs to Heathrow and head towards Terminal 4. You’ll soon see signs for Avis car rental return.
Return your rental when it suits you
At Heathrow Airport, you can return your hire car or van out of hours, because we understand flights run through the night. Just tell us in advance.
Don't forget the London Congestion Charge
This hire station is not in the London Congestion Charge zone but drivers travelling into central London between 7am and 6pm on Monday to Friday will have to pay the charge on a daily basis. Drivers should look out for the Congestion Charge signs en route.

Dartford Crossing
You will see notifications about a charge as you pass through the Dartford Crossing. You don’t need to do anything, or pay the fee in advance, as we will make the payment on your behalf. The crossing fee will be charged to the payment card registered to your rental within 14 days of the authority notifying us of the crossing, with no additional costs included.

- Mobile phones may only be used with a headset or hands-free device
- Use the outside lane to overtake on motorways and dual carriageways
- There is a congestion charge payable when driving in London
- Zebra crossings (black and white stripes on the road) give pedestrians right of way to cross the road

All speed signs will be in mph.
For a standard Avis rental vehicle with no trailers:
- Urban areas: 30 mph (48 km/h)
- Rural areas: 60 mph (96 km/h)
- Motorways: 70 mph (112 km/h)

Child safety / Seatbelt laws
- It is compulsory for the driver and all passengers to wear a seatbelt
- Children aged under 12 or less than 135cm tall must be seated in an appropriate child restraint for their size
